Summer Nights

Join us this spring and summer for a topped-up two-night stay for two. We’ll welcome you with a summer-in-a-cup Hugo Spritz, you’ll spend two nights in an uber-comfy bed and we’ll spot you a table in the pub for a properly good meal on either night. Oh, and there’s brekkie on both mornings, too (in bed, if you like).

Our Bedrooms

There are a million reasons why staying in a pub, beats staying in a hotel. Whether it’s the warm welcome from Landlord Olivier, our lip-smackingly good breakfast spread (including the ultimate oldie but goodie; the dippy egg), or having a buzzing pub downstairs.

Our 29 comfy & boutique rooms are kitted out in hotel fashion, and some even boast gorgeous lake views and a minibar that’s full to the brim with our favourite treats. All of our bedrooms have crisp cotton linen and big fluffy towels, helping you escape the ordinary into a calm oasis from the hustle and bustle of life.

We have a selection of stylish and comfortable comfy, boutique, bigger boutique, feature and pet friendly courtyard rooms to choose from and, with London Waterloo just 30 minutes by train and many local attractions nearly, it’s the perfect spot to stay for both business and leisure stays. We also do a cracking breakfast to set you up for the following day!

We’ve got a private car park with plenty of spaces and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.

Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Worplesdon?

We love our area of Surrey, and we know you will too. We think a stay of two nights is pretty perfect. A little less? You’ll have a great time (we pinky promise), but there’s just so much to see and do in Guildford that you’ll wish you had an extra night with us. Staying for longer? We’ll give you all the hints and tips to make sure Guildford is at the top of your getaway list again and again.

What are the best things to do in Worplesdon?

There’s so much to do and see in and around Worplesdon and Guildford.

Unwind over a round of golf (we have three of the best golf courses surrounding Worplesdon), sip top-notch wine with our friends at Surrey Wine School, and just a 20-minutes away you can get lost in the stunning gardens of RHS Wisley.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our charming pub (she’s a real beauty) to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple.

Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back.

Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 7am on weekdays, and 8am on weekends (we all deserve a little lie-in). If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

We’ve got a handful of family-friendly bedrooms. All rooms (apart from the Snugs) can fit cots for the littlest of guests. Bigger Comfy’s can fit fold-out beds (for the bigger little ones). And some of our rooms can connect to make super-spacious family rooms. Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 years are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

All our Comfy rooms in the Lodge dog-friendly. Just add your dog to your booking (up to two doggo’s can stay with you for £15 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a paw-fect stay with a super-comfy doggy bed, blanket and tasty tail-wagging treats.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

We’ve got plenty of on-site parking, including a over flow car park if you’re here for weddings and events.

How do I get to you via public transport?

We’re a 5-minute cab ride from Worplesdon train station. Sometimes it’s hard to wave down a cab (as we are in a beautifully rural location) so it’s always best to book one in advance.

Heading in from a more central location? Guildford train station is a 10-minute cab journey away.

Heading in from or leaving via the airport? We are 30-minutes (traffic permitting) from Heathrow Airport.

Booking Bits

Can I cancel my booking?

We understand that plans sometimes change, so we try to make our booking policies super flexible. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

You can make changes to your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. This includes changes to your package, room and extras (as long as it’s available). The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-amendable.

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.
